Jenny's 29th

Jenny turned 29 on August 29th - her "Golden Birthday"! Thomas and I went over to my parents' house to celebrate. Thomas played happily on the blanket through most of the meal.

Visiting the Starbird Family

We finally took Thomas to visit our friends Doe and Adam Starbird at their house in Orange County. Xander was excited to meet his "cousin Thomas" and gave lots of hugs!

Working with Dad

When we finally got home from our trip (Brian didn't go) Brian was so happy he didn't want to let Thomas go. Thomas spent the morning helping his dad out with his work.

The Beach!

You can't go to the Cape without going to the beach. This was definitely a highlight for Thomas. He really enjoyed lying under the umbrella with nothing on, not even his diaper.

Go A's!

We made it to two Cape Cod League baseball games during out stay on the Cape. The Chatham A's made it into the play offs this year. Unfortunately they didn't win but the games were still fun.

Working Out with Great Aunt Polly

While we were on the East Coast we went to visit Thomas' great Aunt Polly at her new house in New York. Polly helped him practice pulling himself up to a standing position. He also dipped his toes in the lake that she lives on. Next year he'll go in for a swim!

The Chatham Band Concert

Thomas just made his second cross country journey for a week on Cape Cod. We took him to his first Chatham Band Concert (a longtime summer tradition for our family). Next year we are sure he'll love getting out there to dance. This year he mostly slept. Oh well!

Tummy Time!

Thomas rolls onto his tummy all the time now and most of the time he is pretty happy. He is getting closer and closer to crawling everyday. Now he gets cranky when he can't get himself to the toys that he wants (and that his mom puts JUST out of reach).

Visiting Tahoe

We recently went to visit some friends who have a house in Tahoe. Thomas took a nice nap while his mom went for a hike and another nap during his dad's tour of the Lake.
